WUT in Webometrics Ranking
The Warsaw University of Technology is the third university in Poland in the "Web of Universities" ranking. Higher positions were held by the University of Warsaw and the Jagiellonian University were in front of the Warsaw University of Technology.
The ranking includes 412 universities from Poland, and approx. 12,000 from around the world.
In the global ranking, WUT took 504th place (the University of Warsaw 401th place, and the Jagiellonian University - 420).
Webometrics takes into consideration the number of citation listed in the Google Scholar. The "Webometrics Ranking of World Universities" is an initiative of the Cybermetrics Lab, a research group belonging to the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC), the largest public research body in Spain.
