7,1 candidates were fighting for one seat at WUT. Another three places on the list were taken by other universities of technology: Poznan (6 candidates), Gdansk (5,8) and Lodz (5,2). Warsaw University was on the fifth place (5 candidates for one seat).

According to the studies, conducted by the Ministry, 47 989 candidates altogether applied to WUT.  It’s the best score among all universities.

The most popular from all fields of study was Computer Science (38 285), Administration (21 974) and Law (19 771). Computer Science and Administration are available at three faculties at WUT.

On the fifth place on the list of the most popular fields of study was Automation and Robotics (16 063 applications) available on five faculties of WUT. Our popular courses lectured also at WUT were: Civil Engineering (13 867 applications – the eighth place), Mechanics and Machine Design (13 180 – the ninth place), Production Engineering (11 242 applications – eleventh place).

Among the most wanted courses were Electric and Hybrid Vehicle Engineering (9,8 applications for one place) and Bioeconomy (9,4 applications).
