Warsaw University of Technology in the QS WUR: Europe 2024 ranking
For the first time in the twenty years of the history of the QS ranking, run by the company QS Quacquarelli Symonds, they have drawn up a ranking concentrating on leading European universities. It covers 688 HEIs from 42 countries.
The top of the ranking is dominated by British universities – they took as many as 7 places in the first ten, including the first (University of Oxford) and the third ranking (University of Cambridge).
The Warsaw University of Technology was ranked 211, overtaken by only two Polish universities – Warsaw University (92nd ranking) and Jagiellonian University (122nd ranking). It also had the 7th place among Eastern European universities (WU took the second place and JU – the third).
QS World University Rankings: Europe 2024 covers 12 criteria (listed from the most important to the least): academic reputation, employer reputation, citations per publication, internationalisation of the university research network, publications per faculty, employment, faculty/student ratio, diversity of international students, international faculty ratio, sustainable development, as well as incoming and outgoing exchange student ratio.
