Business - Innovations - Technology (BIT of WUT)
We are proud to present the intellectual potential of WUT’s students, graduates and employees in the new folder entitled “Business - Innovations – Technology”
Warsaw University of Technology has researchers working on a range of scientific topics which are explored in different areas and on different scale. Often the outcome of these helps with development of new technologies or everyday products to come into being.
Here we would like to present the diversity of topics which are of interest to WUT’s researchers.

New materials for 3D printing
Opublikowano: 13/11/2019 3:38 pm
Today on the market there are several thousand different metallic materials available. However only about 30 of them are used for metal 3D printing. New alloys appear slowly, because a lot of resources are needed to develop the proper feedstock – powder with custom chemical composition. Scientists from the Warsaw University of Technology have developed a technology that solves these problems.
Technology to protect surfaces from icing
Opublikowano: 15/10/2019 1:47 pm
The issue is serious. Ice formation and build-up can be a lethal danger in many spheres of life. The risk is still greater if icing occurs on aerodynamic surfaces of aircraft flying at a high speed or on wind turbines, or on key parts of electrical wiring. Rafał Kozera, DSc, Eng. of the Warsaw University of Technology, Faculty of Materials Science and Engineering, has an idea how to solve this problem.
What is the situation of one-person households?
