The Warsaw University of Technology has been classified in the first place in Poland in its key area (Engineering & Technology) in the QS Rankings by Subject. WUT also took second place in Natural Sciences in our country.

Now the European Young Engineers Conference is a recognized brand. This year, the conference will be held for the seventh time, from 23 to 25 April 2018.

- Electric mobility and battery manufacturing in Europe can only be enabled through cooperation between three sectors: the government, the science and the business - said Minister of Energy, Krzysztof Tchórzewski, during an event celebrating the formation of the scientific consortium Pol-Stor-En by seven scientific entities. The Warsaw University of Technology is the Consortium Leader.

The app prototype has won the main prize in the Campus App Challenge hackathon. Now the winning team is developing their idea.

No one in Poland has constructed such a vehicle yet. A team consisting of representatives of 4 research group operating at the Warsaw University of Technology took up the challenge. The fundraising for the project is in progress.

PhD Krzysztof Koszewski, Vice-Dean for Studies at the Faculty of Architecture at the Warsaw University of Technology, during his stay in Beijing, made a series of photographs on architectural topics. His photographs were appreciated by the jury of the competition organized by the eBeijing portal and awarded him the first place.

Maciej Piskorz, a student of the Faculty of Geodesy and Cartography, last year, he (literally) put the judging panel under his spell with his personal charm and was named 2016 Mister WUT.

On Thursday, January 4, 2018, classes will be held according to the plan in force on Monday.

PhD Marcin Kaczkan's daily work is optoelectronics research at the WUT Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology and teaching students. His escape from the routine is mountaineering. At the end of December, he is joining a team of Polish climbers heading up to Karakorum to make history with the first-ever winter ascent of the “Savage Mountain”, K2.

Thanks to your generosity, we will be able to finance several scholarships for the most talented students of the Warsaw University of Technology.

The Ministry of Science and Higher Education summarized the recruitment for the academic year 2017/2018. The collected data show that for first cycle full-time studies at WUT 47 116 applications were reported. This is the highest number from all Polish universities.

Warsaw University of Technology Anniversary Celebrations is an opportunity to reflect back and appreciate those who earned particular merit for their service to the University. Undoubtedly, such distinguished figures include Prof. Felicjan Zygmunt Piątkowski and Prof. Andrzej Roman Makowski. The commemorative plaques celebrating them were unveiled on 16 November 2017.

NanoThea - a spin-off company from the Faculty of Chemical and Process Engineering at the Warsaw University of Technology was recognized as the start-up of the year in a competition organized by the Executive Club - a networking organization of top management representatives representing the most important Polish and international enterprises.

The Polish project of an intelligent solar sail concept "Golden Fleece" won the European Space Agency's competition. Students of the Warsaw University of Technology are also involved in the winning project.

WUT student set off on a hitchhiking trip to China

The National Representation of the PhD students announced the results of the 9th edition of the competition for the most prodoctoral university in the country. The Warsaw University of Technology took third place, ex aequo with the Warsaw Medical University.
