Gabriel Wlazłowski, PhD, a university professor from the Faculty of Physics, utilized the capabilities of the LUMI supercomputer for conducting advanced research in the field of quantum mechanics. Our researcher has recently completed the project titled "Turbulent Dynamics in Superfluid Fermi Systems", conducted as part of the competition for pilot computing grants, which are implemented using the infrastructure of the most powerful European supercomputer.

WUT's projects at an international conference

Representatives of the Warsaw University of Technology participated in the 12th International Conference on Guidance, Navigation & Control Systems (GNC) – 9th International Conference on Astrodynamics Tools and Techniques (ICATT). They presented papers on the flagship projects of the Student Space Association: the PW-Sat3 satellite and the FOK guided rocket.
Agreements between WUT and Korean institutions

Our University will cooperate with research units from South Korea: Korea Automotive Technology Institute (KATECH), Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology (KIAT), Kyungpook National University (KNU) and Busan National University (PNU). Letters of intent in this matter on behalf of the WUT were signed by the Vice-Rector for Research, Prof. Mariusz Malinowski.

A new building was erected in the Royal Łazienki Park - it is the Freedom Pavilion. It was built by students and lecturers from the Faculty of Architecture of the Warsaw University of Technology, but the project itself brought together many communities and institutions.

The project by Michal Karelus and Michal Niedzielczyk from the Faculty of Automotive and Construction Machinery Engineering consists of an inflatable rescue buoy and an ejection system. Its important advantage is that providing assistance does not require direct contact with the victim.
