Researchers from the Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology are working on a tool to detect undesirable behavior among people in pre-trial detention centers and penitentiaries. The solution is to be based on specially designed algorithms for automatic detection and prediction of events.

Mateusz Białek, Kamil Choromański and Jakub Łobodecki from the Faculty of Geodesy and Cartography created an app which opens up new possibilities for electric car users.

Anna Piątek, Piotr Gajdka (both from the Silesian University of Technology) and Mikołaj Kociołek (Warsaw University of Technology) were distinguished in an international competition Tree house 2021. Their project is a dream-come-true of a tree house and a response to current problems that humanity is facing.

57 people from the Warsaw University of Technology were included in the World's TOP 2% Scientists 2020 ranking, prepared by the Stanford University in cooperation with the Elsevier publishing company.

Iwona Krawiec, MSc., Eng., Arch. took the first place in the National Institute of Cultural Heritage competition "Cultural Heritage as a Development Resource". The graduate of the Faculty of Architecture was awarded for her engineering thesis.

On the occasion of the Warsaw University of Technology Day, November 15, 2021, a solemn session of the WUT Senate was held. State decorations, prizes in the Siemens Award Competition and the M. Wolfke's Prize were all presented at the ceremony.

Its main tasks include assisting in the development of accessibility policy at the University and outside of it, conducting innovative, interdisciplinary research, preparing expert opinions, training, education, and awareness.
