The Confucius Institute of Warsaw University of Technology is pleased to invite you to the conference entitled Culture-Science-Education organised to mark the establishment of the cooperation between Warsaw University of Technology and Beijing Jiaotong University (BJTU).

We invite employees, doctoral students and students of the Warsaw University of Technology to participate the first public discussion organized by the ENHANCE Alliance “ENHANCE Conversations - Covid Recovery: The role of European Universities of Technology in setting the path to a sustainable future post-covid”. The event will take place online on June 15, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Professor Krzysztof Kulpa, PhD, DSc, and University Professor Piotr Samczyński, PhD, DSc, from the Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology are winners of the SET Panel Excellence Award 2020. The award is granted by the Panel Sensors & Electronics Technology (SET), which belongs to the Science and Technology Organization (STO), operating within NATO.

Konrad Aleksiejuk, M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, who graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Warsaw University of Technology (specialization: automation and applied robotics), has been recognized for his master's thesis entitled "Power electronics converter with SiC transistors for planetary penetrator" (supervisor: Mariusz Zdanowski, PhD in Electrical Engineering).

The crew from the Warsaw University of Technology won the gold medal of the Polish Academic Championships. 

Prof. Mariusz Malinowski, PhD, DSc, Vice-Rector for Research, WUT, was awarded for his outstanding contribution to the development of issues related to control in power electronics and supporting cyclical Power Electronics and Motion Control (PEMC) conferences.

Our students among the finalists

Hubert Buczyński was among the laureates of the 1^st National Competition for the best diploma thesis (BA/BSc or MA thesis) on passenger aviation and cargo transport.

A letter of intent between WUT and Hawk-e was signed on April 12, 2021. The agreement concerns cooperation in the field of unmanned systems technology and is related to the Aviation Research Center of the Warsaw University of Technology, which is being built at the airport in Przasnysz.

WUT was ranked the 686^th (up 31 places) in the international CWUR (The Center for World University Ranking). We took the fifth position in Poland, three universities and one research institute were classified ahead of us.

The representatives of the Warsaw University of Technology delighted the jury with their performance of the mazurka from The Haunted Manor, which took place in December 2019, as part of the show “I am not creating anything new. In tribute to Stanisław Moniuszko on the 200^th anniversary of his birth".

It sounds like dreams of drivers and road administrators come true. Our scientists are contributing to the project. Research is underway.

Four top places were taken by representatives of the Warsaw University of Technology in the national Student Structures Competition (KOKOS).

The seat of our University is not only WUT’s symbol but it is also an important monument in Warsaw. Now restoration work is underway in order to bring back the beauty of the decorative elements of the building and its surrounding area.

The Warsaw University of Technology and “Łucznik” Arms Factory Radom LLC have established cooperation in the field of research and development, consulting, expert as well as design and implementation works. The agreement in this matter was signed on April 22nd this year.
