WUT graduates recognized in Builder Awards

Adam Pykel and Jarosław Kujawa won the 2020 Polish Hercules Golden Statuette and Silver Statuette, respectively. Agnieszka Kalinowska-Sołtys, Witold Szymanik, Jarosław Wielopolski and Paweł Wierzbicki were titled the Industry’s Personality of the Year 2020.

His PhD dissertation was developed under an agreement on joint supervision (“cotutelle agreement”); photo: as received.

Dr inż. Piotr Prochoń of the Faculty of Civil Engineering has defended a prestigious double PhD dissertation, obtaining a PhD degree at the Warsaw University of Technology and at Belgium’s Université de Liège, where he completed a three year PhD study program (2017-2020).

In the latest "Web of Universities” list presenting universities with the best online visibility, the Warsaw University of Technology ranked 512th worldwide (up by 22 notches). Also, it is Poland’s fourth most visible university.

The meeting was attended by members of the University Council and representatives of WUT authorities. It was held on January 28, 2021 and was conducted in a hybrid format — some of the participants gathered in the Senate Hall, others joined remotely.
