The results of the Ranking of the Engineering Studies Perspektywy 2018 have been announced.

SAE Aero Design competition in California has been completed. The team from WUT took the third place in the general classification in the Advanced class, 1st place for the technical presentation in this class and third place for the accuracy of the drop.

The Warsaw University of Technology is the third university in Poland in the "Web of Universities" ranking. Higher positions were held by the University of Warsaw and the Jagiellonian University were in front of the Warsaw University of Technology.

Now the European Young Engineers Conference is a recognized brand. This year, the conference will be held for the seventh time, from 23 to 25 April 2018.

The app prototype has won the main prize in the Campus App Challenge hackathon. Now the winning team is developing their idea.

No one in Poland has constructed such a vehicle yet. A team consisting of representatives of 4 research group operating at the Warsaw University of Technology took up the challenge. The fundraising for the project is in progress.

PhD Krzysztof Koszewski, Vice-Dean for Studies at the Faculty of Architecture at the Warsaw University of Technology, during his stay in Beijing, made a series of photographs on architectural topics. His photographs were appreciated by the jury of the competition organized by the eBeijing portal and awarded him the first place.

PhD Marcin Kaczkan's daily work is optoelectronics research at the WUT Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology and teaching students. His escape from the routine is mountaineering. At the end of December, he is joining a team of Polish climbers heading up to Karakorum to make history with the first-ever winter ascent of the “Savage Mountain”, K2.
