A project led by the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Warsaw University of Technology (or more precisely — the Institute of Control and Industrial Electronics) was directed for funding in the POLNOR 2019 Call for Polish-Norwegian research projects. Moreover, this project received the highest rating in the Energy, transport and climate field.
An important step in studying the difference between matter and antimatter in the universe

The international T2K neutrino physics experiment (Tokai to Kamiokande) has published conclusions from the results of its research in the prestigious scientific journal “Nature” [1]. The authors include a large group of Poles, including team members from the Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology of the Warsaw University of Technology, headed by Prof. Krzysztof Zaremba. Beside him, the co-authors are: Doctor Robert Kurjata, Doctor Andrzej Rychter and Marcin Ziembicki, MSc.

#MyQuaranTime competition is for all international students of Warsaw University of Technology. The rules are simple: record a 40-60 second short movie showing your studies at home, during the quarantine and send a link to download your short video to MyQuaranTime.cwm@pw.edu.pl using one of the file transfer services, e.g. wetransfer.com, dropbox.com, drive.google.com, etc. The deadline to send the movie is 10th May (23:59 CET).

Inter-faculty initiative of printing visors for hospitals and clinics

At present, the team has over a dozen of 3D printers at their disposal. They come from various faculties and units of the Warsaw University of Technology. The team started their cooperation to use their equipment and skills to support the healthcare services in fighting the coronavirus pandemic.
#WUTprinting Face masks from BioMedical Engineering Laboratory, or DIY

The BioMedical Engineering Laboratory (BioMedLab) of the Warsaw University of Technology Faculty of Chemistry and Process Engineering has always been home to projects supporting healthcare professionals and patients. Artificial blood, artificial blood vessels or innovations driving cancer treatment are just some of the ideas of the team headed up by Prof. Tomasz Ciach. Now, the scientists are helping healthcare in another way: by printing reusable face masks and joining in an inter-faculty initiative to produce face shields.
