Researchers at the Warsaw University of Technology have developed a technology that protects any surface from harmful microorganisms. The solution uses bioactive nanoparticle composites applied in the form of a permanent coating.

Donations brought to the central collection point at the Main Building by our community have been delivered to the Polish Red Cross. They will then be delivered to the Polish-Ukrainian border to reach those who need them the most.

They approached the pandemic with an engineering mindset. They have come up with a project to mitigate some of its effects. They won the James Dyson Award and recently had the opportunity to present their idea at the Expo in Dubai. Mike Ryan from WUT's Faculty of Mechatronics and Aleksander Trakul from the University of Edinburgh prove that great ideas have no limits.

Our neighbors need concrete and fast help. Warsaw University of Technology is raising money which will be transferred to the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) through Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego (BGK). The NBU will use the funds to allocate them to the necessary activities.

Paulina Górecka and Paulina Pawlikowska, architecture graduates of Wrocław University of Science and Technology and Warsaw University of Technology, won the first place in the international Hangar Ticinum competition. The former seaplane hangar in Pavia, Italy, can be given a second life thanks to their design.

Julia Bujak, Maria Paczóska, Ezgi Sopaoglu, and Aleksandra Warowna from the Faculty of Architecture of the Warsaw University of Technology proposed changes in Elini – a small village in Sardinia.
